Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 16, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Age & Date website and the Age & Date Android application (package com.ageanddate.app) — together, “the Service”. The Service is a suite of free date calculators. It requires no account and no sign-in.
What we collect
The calculators run entirely on your device. Dates you enter (birth dates, due dates, countdown targets…) are processed locally and are never sent to our servers. We do not operate any backend and do not collect, store, or sell personal information ourselves.
Some preferences are stored locally on your device only (for example your theme choice, added time-zone cities, or a scheduled countdown reminder). You can clear them at any time by clearing the site data or the app data.
Advertising
The Service is free and financed by advertising. Ads are served by Google:
- Google AdSense on the website;
- Google AdMob in the Android app.
Google and its partners may use cookies (web) or device identifiers such as the advertising ID (Android) to serve and measure ads, and — with your consent — to personalize them. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.
Consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before any personalized advertising is shown, through Google's certified consent message (Consent Mode v2 on the web, the User Messaging Platform in the app). You can decline and still use every calculator — ads will simply be non-personalized. You can change your choice at any time: on the web via the privacy link at the bottom of the page, in the app by reinstalling or clearing the app data. Users in certain US states can opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising through the same message.
Notifications (Android app)
If you enable a countdown reminder, a local notification is scheduled on your device. This is optional, requires your explicit permission, and no information leaves your device.
Children
The Service is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you, requests about ad data are best addressed through the consent message or your Google Ad Center settings. Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA…), you may have rights of access, deletion and objection. For any privacy question, contact us and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves; the effective date above always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
